With pride, we present our brand-new temporary exhibition “The Red Baron – The Life and Legend of Manfred von Richthofen.” Step into the story of one of the most famous pilots of the First World War and discover how his legend comes to life.
🔠Manfred von Richthofen, born in 1892 in Germany, became one of the most successful fighter pilots of WWI. He started as an observer but quickly developed a passion for flying and went on to lead a feared fighter squadron. In April 1918, he was killed over enemy territory.
🎥 In the exhibition, you will discover his remarkable life story through authentic objects, unique photographs, and original documents. In addition, we also screen a film featuring exclusive footage of his presence in Flanders and France.
📕 And there’s more: inspired by fascination with his story, we have released a limited edition book that explores the themes of the exhibition in greater depth. Perfect for revisiting everything at home! Interested? You can find the book at the entrance of our museum.
✅ Come by and experience his story!
â„¹ï¸ The exhibition runs until the end of 2026.
