Theme café

Just next to the museum, you can find our theme café. In the cosy theme café one can also enjoy an impressive collection of chiselled shell cases (so called trench art) while having a snack or a drink.

Flemish specialties

Niek and Ilse are proud to have the possibility to treat over 170 guests (120 inside sitting places and over 50 outside) with some of their finest culinary specialties. You can choose of a large selection of beers, fizzy drinks and ice creams. You feel really hungry? Well, then you should definitely try the home made meat dishes, such as:

• Cold meat plate with jacked potatoes
• -    Traditional brown bread with the following toppings
  • Pâtés
  • Black pudding
  • Smoked or cooked ham
  • Pickled pork meat
  • Cheese
• -    Toast with grilled cheese and ham (Croque Monsieur)

All dishes are served with daily fresh vegetables.

We worked out a special arrangement for groups (min. 20 pers) that would like combine a museum visit with a nice meal. Please note that we can only accept your group for this offer after reservation!
